Activated carbon filter

The purification of an air flow containing VOCs can be effectively carried out by using activated carbon filters.
The latter are microporous materials of vegetable or mineral origin, characterized by a high specific surface, capable of retaining a vast typology of molecules in their
active sites, with more or less high efficiencies.
The physical process on which this holding capacity is based is adsorption, a term used to indicate the property of certain solid substances to bind molecules in the gaseous or liquid phase with weak forces (Van der Waals).
Most frequent fields of use: PAINTING BOOTHS, TYPOGRAPHY AND SCREEN PRINTING, ELIMINATION OF SMELLS.
